Can I use the digital log book while I'm driving?

Absolutely not. It is illegal for a learner to use any function of a mobile phone while driving. This includes when waiting at traffic lights or while in traffic. You must be safely parked out of the line of traffic to use your phone in any way.

The digital log book apps are designed so that you enter all the required details before you start your practice drive. You can then put the phone away, and the app will record your drive in the background.
