What happens when I enter the wrong odometer details?
If you made a mistake with your odometer details during your driving session, here is how you can complete a session. L2P digital logbook will make sure you enter an odometer value higher than the previously recorded odometer value for the car you're driving. If you made a mistake and entered an incorrect odometer value (for example by adding an extra digit) for your previous odometer reading, and have trouble closing the session, just enter the next logical odometer reading and as soon as you
What does 'unverified drive' mean?
This means there's some kind of error with the details you entered in your profile, and they don't match Roads and Maritime Service NSW records. If your details can't be validated, your drive will be marked as 'unverified' or invalidated. Manual entries are also considered unverified drives. How can I tell if my details or supervisor/instructor details are correct?
If you don't get any error messages when entering this information, the details are correct and have been validated against Roads and Maritime's systems.
Will the L2P app automatically update when a new version is released?
This depends on the settings on your phone. If you have set your phone to automatically update, your app will update as soon as a new version is available.
I'm seeing the error message 'unverified' when registering for my app - what does this mean?
If you see an exclamation mark (!) or 'unverified session' marked against drives you've taken with the app, this means the licence details you entered either for yourself or your supervisor/instructor don't match Roads and Maritime NSW records. Make sure you enter the details correctly in your profile. If you believe your details are correct and you are still getting this message, it may be related to a temporary outage or a time-out at the Roads and Maritime NSW verification system.
What type of device do I need to use a digital log book?
The endorsed apps can be used on most Android and Apple mobile phones, and some tablets, although there are minimum operating system requirements. See the system requirements for each app for details.
What if I lose my phone, or get a new one?
All your settings and driving data are held on the app servers, so if you get a new phone for any reason you'll be able to restore your driving data when you download the app and log in.
